In order to have the required time for security check, baggage check-in, and other pre-flight activities you need to be at the International Terminal of the JFK International Airport - in the vicinity of the ELAL check-in counters, no later than 6:00pm on the 13th unless you have made specific arrangements with me to arrive later than that!
You will be receiving a welcome packet, which includes your ELAL e-ticket. Make sure you keep your ticket and your passport handy throughout this check-in process.
Be prepared to answer many questions, you may think they are unnecessary but they are only doing this for your security. Once you clear this security, you will then be issued your boarding pass. These seats are booked in a block however, please check that you are indeed seated with your spouse or friend before you leave the counter.
Any special request for meals or seating need to be addresses to ELAL Airlines directly.
Airports are very busy so we would like to remind you to watch your belongings carefully. Never leave them alone or with someone you do not know. And please be sure to keep your passport, airline ticket and money in a safe place. Do not accept any items at the airport such as letters, packages, etc., from strangers! This is very important!
As I mentioned, we will be sending a packet to you with some additional special items that will assist you on the trip and give you some departing information. Among those items will be nametags and luggage tags. If I have not already spoken with you, please let me know if you have a name preference for your nametag or if you have an address preference for your luggage tag, different then I would have received on your registration.
Please check and be sure that you have sent in to us a copy of your passport, your flight itinerary and information on whether or not you have chosen to purchase the trip insurance. If there is anyone that does not have a passport that is valid for the duration of the trip, and six months after call me immediately! Thanks.
If you are going on the Eilat/Petra extension and I have not talked to you to get information from you regarding the Jordan visa, please call me immediately at (423) 521-5435.
Well, it’s almost time to board our flight for what will truly be a “spiritual adventure of a lifetime”. Our prayers are with you as you prepare for this journey to Israel.
In His Service,
Jodi DeYoung
