Several have asked about cell phones in Israel… I am including info on cell phones you can rent … if you are interested you need to order them so they can process your order. Please let me know if you do order one so I can re-confirm that you are on the list that they will provide to me.

In the next letter I will be including contact numbers for you while you are in Israel. You may be interested to have these locations available to those who may need to be in contact with you while you are in the land, so be looking for that information in the next letter.

To answer a few more questions that are often asked ... It would be good to have a neck purse if you are concerned about theft of your personal items that you should carry at all times; secondly there are laundry services available at the hotels but they are expensive. You may be more interested in making provision for washing out items yourself in your room. Thirdly, people ask, “What about money?” It would be a good idea to bring some cash - in small bills. NO travelers checks or pre-paid credit cards. Also, most locations will take Visa and Mastercard credit cards as well. Some take American Express. It is a good idea to let your bank know if you plan to use your credit card while traveling.
