Joshua Travel

* Passport: A valid passport is required and must be obtained by each tour member. No visas are required for Israel; however, if you are traveling into Jordan we will be assisting you in getting a visa and there may be an additional charge.

*Air Transportation: Joshua Travel may not be able to confirm "final" flight schedule information until three weeks prior to departure.

* Deposits and Payments: Payment of the tour must be made to Joshua Travel in US funds. A deposit of $300 per person is required at the time of booking and can be made with credit card or personal check. The deposit is automatically 50% non-refundable and is only 50% refundable if requested 90 days prior to the departure date. From 90 days prior to departure until day of departure - there is no refund on the deposit. Joshua Travel must receive ALL final payments no later than seventy (90) days prior to departure and they must be in the form of a personal check, cashiers check or money order. Final payments received inside 90 days can be assessed a $30 late payment fee if arrangements are not made prior to 90 days out.

* Cancellations and Refunds:

a) Tour Cancellation or Alteration of Itinerary: The tour operator reserves the right to cancel any tour, with or without notice, in which case the passenger’s money will be refunded-less administrative fees. (However, insurance premiums, over which Joshua Travel has no control, cannot be refunded.) It also reserves the right to alter the itinerary of any tour, if, for any reason, this becomes necessary or desirable. Additionally, the tour operator may, for the same reasons, substitute another hotel or airlines of the same quality, as deemed so by Joshua Travel, for the one originally planned. In both these cases, no refund is due to the passenger.

b) Passenger Cancellation and Refunds: If a passenger cancels his/her tour membership for any reason, there will be a cancellation fee of $300 to cover deposits, administrative and communication costs. For cancellations from 90-31 days 50% of tour cost; no refunds for cancellations within 30 days of departure - trip cancellation and interruption insurance is available, as already mentioned, and is highly recommended. Joshua Travel cannot accept cancellation of a group should the group leader be unable to participate. Joshua Travel cannot guarantee that any single sharing a room will not cancel; the cancellation of a roommate may result in an increased fare to cover single occupancy charges. All cancellation requests must be addressed to Joshua Travel in writing via US Mail. The written notice of cancellation must be given to Joshua Travel no later than 48 hours prior to commencement of the scheduled tour. Phone calls for cancellations cannot be accepted.

* Responsibility: Joshua Travel agrees to arrange for the tour described in this brochure. This represents the entire agreement between the passenger and his agent, the tour host, and Joshua Travel. The sequence of touring sites may be changed due to circumstances beyond “our” control. Except as stated herein, no person is authorized to cancel, modify or vary the tour arrangements or to make any representation of warranty concerning the tour. Except for the willful negligence of “our” employees, “we” assume no liability or responsibility for any injuries, damages occasioned by circumstances beyond “our” control or by any person for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to default or omission of and by any third party providing services or facilities related or included in this tour or any part thereof or in arranging for the same or the acts of omission of the tour host. Due to circumstances beyond “our” control, the sequence of touring sites may occasionally need to be altered. The airlines are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passenger is not on board the plane or conveyance. The passenger contracts, in use by the airline and the passenger or purchaser of this tour and/or passage, and “we” assume no liability or responsibility in connection therewith.

Also, “we” WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for:

a)health or sickness, personal effects, loss of life, acts of war, acts of terrorism, civil disorders, mechanical breakdown, government actions, weather, acts of God, hijackings or other circumstances beyond “our” control, including any connecting flights that may be missed as a result thereof (passenger should consider the possibility of delays when arranging connections);

b) the failure to follow instructions, including but not limited to check-in and check-out times and baggage handling;

c) charges incurred relating to single room requirements either by the passenger themselves or their assigned roommate.

Payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions listed herein.

* Physical Disability: Any physical disability that may require special attention or treatment must be reported to Joshua Travel. Handicapped passengers must be accompanied by an able-bodied companion who will take full responsibility for any assistance needed during the tour and/or in the event of any emergency.

* Price: The price quoted is a cash price. You can contact Jodi for other forms of payment.

* Transportation: Is round trip jet service from New York area to Tel Aviv to New York area, coach class. There are group requirements and you must pay in full at least 90 days prior to departure. Space will be available within 90 days of departure on a limited basis. (It is possible that there may be a limited amount of upgrades available for an additional cost.)

* Deviations in Scheduled Flights: An individual change in return date, which is a deviation from the basic group itinerary, will be allowed, if possible, at a minimum cost of $75 per ticket.

* Hotels: Accommodations are deluxe hotels throughout. Prices are based on two persons sharing a twin bedded room with private bath. Single rooms subject to availability for an additional cost.

* Meals: Israeli Breakfasts and exquisite dinners, daily, upon arrival in Israel.

* Sightseeing: Local transportation is by deluxe, air-conditioned motorcoach. Entrance fees to places visited on sightseeing described in the included itinerary are included in the tour price.

* Taxes and Tips: Airport taxes and tips to guides and drivers have already been included.

* Transfers and Portage: Already included.

* Not included in tour price: Passport and/or visa costs, food and beverages (that are not mentioned above, and please note that beverages are not considered part of your meal), optional tours and excursion not mentioned in this itinerary, accident and baggage insurance (we do have information available for the purchase of this insurance) and items of a personal nature.

For Your Protection:

* Insurance: Acting only as agents for suppliers, Joshua Travel is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of luggage and/or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident and/or illness. For your own protection, it is important that you have adequate insurance to cover these possibilities. You should carry proof of insurance in the event you need medical attention while in Israel.
