Travel Info
Shalom!
Just a few more responses to questions that have been asked!
*TIME DIFFERENCE: There is a seven hour time difference from Eastern Time, as of right now; however, I will try and keep you updated if there is a time change before our group travels - that means Israel is ahead of us by that much.
*WEATHER UPDATE : The weather will probably be between 65-80 degrees during the day and between 50-65 degrees at night, I suggest that you pack clothes that you can layer. (Especially since we can’t predict the weather … it could be cooler or warmer!)
CLOTHING RESTRICTIONS: Some have asked if there are certain places where there are restrictions on attire … neither men nor women can wear sleeveless shirts to three locations; Capernaum - in the Galilee, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Temple Mount - in Jerusalem.
In Capernaum - in the Galilee, you also must have your legs covered to the knees

NEED: Adapters, converters and hair dryers
CAMERAS: If you are bringing digital cameras it is smart to bring extra memory disc - you will probably end up taking lots of pictures and the memory disc are much more expensive there.
PRE-PAID VISA CARDS/American Express or Travelers Checks: Are NOT smart to use in Israel – they are NOT accepted everywhere.
INTERNET ACCESS: You can pay to use the computer room at the Dan in Jerusalem; There is wireless in the lobby at the Gai Beach in Tiberias if you bring your own computer.
CHECK-IN/FLIGHT: Double check seat assignments, and give your frequent flyer number.
BAGGAGE: There is a fee for additional baggage.
Just a reminder about plugs in Israel - there is a plug in your bathroom that looks like an American plug-in … be sure not to use it for anything but what it is marked!
